Consumables Recycling Program Services
We can help your company or group start a recycling program as a means for properly disposing of consumables, a fundraiser and/or a community awareness campaign. By joining the ORS Recycling Program you will:
- Earn money for empty laser and ink jet cartridges collected
- Convey the importance of environmental responsibility and conservation.
- Increase your visibility in the community by being a collection center for the recycling of these cartridges.
All cartridges you send into ORS will be accepted. We buy hundreds of different types of inkjet and laser cartridges while prices vary from time to time. The program coordinator will be notified regularly with current pricing. The more cartridges you send in, the more money you make! Actively participating groups can earn hundred of dollars per month!
Here are a few good reasons to recycle cartridges:- Almost 1 gallon of oil is needed to make one new laser cartridge.
- In just 12 months, cartridge recycling could save 400 million gallons of oil in the United States.
- Millions of cartridges go into landfills each year world wide and this number increases by 12% annually.
